My name is Vivien Katharina Wilk.

I started writing stories in the ninth grade and have hardly put the pen down since. I love stories in any form, be it written, on the screen or in computer games. A good story, interesting characters, and a fantastic world always get me.

The genres in which I move the most are fantasy and mystic, but I also like to make detours into other areas. My main focus is on long and short stories. I am currently working on two projects, one of which I will present here on the site. I also post a writing exercise on Twitter every Monday to keep my creativity flowing. I am happy about everyone who wants to do these creative exercises with me. The texts that arise from it can also be found here on the site.

After writing had slipped a long way down the priority list in recent years, it is now my goal to continue training my abilities and regularly challenge my creativity. This website should help to get feedback for my work and to encourage myself to keep working.

 

The "Writer's Café" is a reminder of a time when I managed a forum for amateur authors so that we could support each other. I want to take up this idea again with the name.

Also, I'm pretty nostalgic at times.

 

As a non-native speaker, I still try to translate all of my texts into English as best as I can. If you notice something that I should improve, please do not hesitate to give me feedback.

I was born in Germany, but I currently live with my family in Switzerland. With a small child at home, I am challenged in a completely different way to accommodate my own projects in everyday life. I am very sure that you will hear about it from time to time on my blog or on Twitter.
