Wheel of Fortune
Keyla hadn't really wanted to go with her friends. Street fests weren't for someone like her. It was an excuse for the less wealthy to drink and to spend the little they had on stupid games. It was full, loud and you were constant jostled. Keyla hissed air when a boy stumbled against her. With an angry look, she watched him go as he kept walking. Not even an apology.
At most she would stay half an hour and then go home. It was an impertinence.
"Dear lady, should I predict your future for you?"
Keyla paused when she heard the voice of a young woman on her right. She looked surprised over. Although it was still deafening around her, she had understood the question rystal clear. The woman was sitting at the edge of the square next to a fire bowl. It almost looked like her hair was part of the flames. There was an expression of command on her almost white face. Keyla couldn't see much of her clothes. A green cloth covered her upper body and the rest was covered by a barrel that was used as a table. In her hand she hold a card, directed to Keyla.
A cold shiver ran down Keyla's back. She didn't know why, but something awoke fear in her. It couldn't be the woman. There was nothing striking about the stranger.
"If you come here, dear lady, I can let you take a look at what's going to come, "said the stranger, moving her free hand to another chair next to the barrel.

It got better and better. Now they tried to sell her something. Keyla breathed deeply through, then raised a hand and made a dismissive gesture toward the woman.
"I don't need your handheld tricks. I know what's in my future. Troubl someone else. "
With the words, she turned and walked away quickly. Now her patience was at it end. Whether the others wanted it or not, they would go home.
The red-haired stranger watched the girl hurry to her governess through the crowd. Shaking her head, she pulled her arm back and looked at the card.
"No matter whether you think you know your future or not, you are already captured in the wheel of fate. There is no escape for the blind. I wish you luck because you will need it."
